In addition to our wines, tours and events, Thorrington Mill Vineyard also offers a range of specialist vineyard services and countryside experiences, from luxury vineyard glamping stays to vineyard establishment, trellising, fencing and ongoing vineyard management support.
With years of hands-on experience in viticulture, landscaping and vineyard operations, we work with private clients, landowners and vineyard operators across a range of projects, whether establishing a new vineyard, supporting an existing one, or providing specialist contracting services throughout the growing season.
Alongside our vineyard services, guests can also enjoy a relaxing countryside escape in our luxury shepherd’s huts, The Shepherd’s Hides, offering peaceful vineyard glamping in the heart of rural Essex.
Glamping
Book our luxury shepherds huts, The Shepherd’s Hides, for a unique and restful break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Self-catering glamping for two adults only with the added bonus of being on a vineyard!
Vineyard Trellising & Fencing
We can offer all kinds of fencing styles to suit your needs. Whether it be deer fencing to protect your vineyard from unwanted pests, livestock, and rabbit etc.
We have also developed a competitive service for all your trellising needs once your vineyard has been planted. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
Vineyard Contracting & Management
We can provide a comprehensive contracting arrangement with our range of specialist vineyard machinery. This can be part of a management agreement or as a stand alone service.
If it’s a full service package you require we can provide you with a monthly cost per acre to take your vineyard forward from those early days through to producing wine and beyond.
Services include:
Bud Removal & Thinning, Foliage Tucking, Weed Control, Mowing, Pest Control, Canopy Trimming and Roller Hacking & Harvesting.
